When we talk about Jesus Christ, there should be a need to go beyond the cross. Meaning we have identified that Jesus death, burial, and resurrection is the key in understanding the way of salvation. Salvation is believing and receiving the fact sin came into this world through one man. When this happen people lost their relationship with God. Yet to be restored into the right relationship to him one must believe and receive God’s plan of redemption. His plan was in his Jesus Christ.
Jesus bore our sins upon the cross with him. As we accept this fact and understand that Jesus Christ is only way back to God. The facts are in this plan of salvation things had to be done in order.
The plan was Christ was born by a virgin. Born in the town of Bethlehem. Raised in a town call Nazareth. He went out and did his public ministry. Teaching, preaching, healing and proclaiming God’s truth.
One day all of this would come to an end in the eyes of men. Jesus before he got to the cross, he was whipped, beaten, spitted on. Why did he let it happened, because it was all in the plan. The plan which God allowed so the world could be freed from the sin of unrighteousness. Jesus Christ death on the cross was the beginning of victory for the people of the world.
Now Jesus was and still is the key of salvation. Nothing has changed in that order of things. Everlasting life is a gift from God by the way of the death burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
Those who come to Jesus Christ God gives them the right to become the children of God. Did you know also in Book of Romans it speaks about God and how his grace and mercy is upon the earth today.
What is God’s grace and mercy. God grace is that he don’t condemn us but gives everyone the choice to believe. His mercy comes in let us know if we do something wrong or sin against him he won’t hold that against us, once we confess our sins. Do you know all unrighteousness is sin, but God continue to forgive us if we confess them.
In the book of Romans it tell us about God’s plan of salvation and what we must do to receive this plan.
But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; that if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.
Romans 10:8-11 KJV
The master plan of God is this that people may come to know Christ and God in a personal way. It’s a personal encounter. It’s a love between God and man. God offer this to all.
What is in it for me people might ask. This is found in Romans 5
Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: by whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; and patience, experience; and experience, hope: and hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.
Romans 5:1-5 KJV
We have that hope. The hope is everlasting life. Living a life on earth as being free. Freedom in Christ. The world maybe turned upside down but we have such confidence in God. We have such joy in God. Knowing he is the one that created all that you see, in order for us to live on earth.
Finally, the plan of God is for everyone. We just have to believe and receive his plan. For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ the Lord and savior.
