Why do I like after a nice spring rain? I woke up the other morning and went outside and it was a wonderful site to see. It rained the night before and once the rain was over it was a fresh smell in the air.
After the spring rain it leaves a fresh scent in the air. I really can explain it that morning on that scent but you can smell a freshness in the air. It was so clean and fresh. The rain left behind a fresh scent as that of fresh laundry just got finished.
The next thing I notice is how after the rain it left everything so green. Meaning the rain washes away those things that don’t belong or loose prices of unwanted materials. The grass and the trees color was so vivid and bright. They got a wash down. That is why after the rain less pollen is in the air.
With people dealing with seasonal allergies, I can imagine the rain is a sigh of relief. The rain washes out the high pollen count. It give people time to breath fresh air without breathing the pollen. It clean and refreshes the air we breath. Thank God for the rain.
When we come to God, he washes us in a spiritual way. We can see clearer. Meaning when we are in the world we agree with the system of world, not knowing the real truth. The truth is anyone who loves the world and anything in it he is an enemy to God. This is made so because God himself is God and loving the world and the things in it before God is sin. God want us to love on him and be a part of his family.
The rain is refreshing and God and refresh us spiritual. He does this but seeking us out and when he find us, he changes our heart towards him. We have a choice to choose him or not. God doesn’t force himself to worship him, but it’s a free will. We worship God in spirit and in truth. We come to God as a choice, we come to God because what he has done. He is Almighty. Therefore just like the rain that refreshes. God can give us a spiritual awakening to his truth and his ways.
God cleanse us from all unrighteousness. He is able to make us see better, and most of all our sin stained life is over once we come to him. We are given a choice. The choice is freedom in this world we live in. A freedom to live and not die spiritually.
