Are you ready for the battle?

We face challenges every day, but what is the real battle you are facing in life. Battle comes in all forms, from sporting events to a war. Even an ideal of a person battle goes unnoticed to others, yet a person keeps it to themselves.

How do get through these personal battle. Do we pray and seek God? Some might go and get medical treatment. While other have to see a specialist to help them to cope with their battle. No matter what the battle you might be facing in life, never give up, fight on until victory is won.

When we look at Joshua chapter 5 we see a lot going on in the first few verses. When the news got around to about what God did people didn’t want to go into battle with the Israelites. What are we seeing here. Do you know people worries about situations that God already won in their lives.

The point I am making is people heard about how God is leading and directing the Israelites through the land. Others are fearful of the Israelites because of God almighty.

When the Israelites stop and rested it was the Passover time. Those who had not been circumcized, this was their moment and time. The Israelites didn’t move until those who been circumcized was healed. All of this was God’s way of preparing the army to get ready to face the city if Jericho.

The real take away from this chapter is God has it under control. The way the Israelites laws was and things needed to be done in a way that pleases God. When we do as God has for us we will receive our blessing.

Title of today message was are you ready for the battle. We face physical battles, but are you equip to face those spiritual battles that comes up in our lives.

Tomorrow it’s all about how to face our battle that comes to us spiritually. You might have some ideas, but to really know how to win those battles comes with a price. Therefore let’s get ready to shout down those wall of Jericho that is in our lives, so we can be victorious in our walk with God.
