The new crisis in Judah’s life.

What in the world is going on. Where is that prostitute I slept with. What it all a dream or something real. Genesis chapter 38 spill ot all about Judah and his family. As we continue to look at this bloodline of Jesus we see the beginning of its all. Now let’s look into the word for today

Genesis 38:20‭-‬23 NIV. Judah sent the young goat by his friend the Adullamite in order to get his pledge back from the woman, but he did not find her. He asked the men who lived there, “Where is the shrine prostitute who was beside the road at Enaim?” “There hasn’t been any shrine prostitute here,” they said. So he went back to Judah and said, “I didn’t find her. Besides, the men who lived there said, ‘There hasn’t been any shrine prostitute here.’ ” Then Judah said, “Let her keep what she has, or we will become a laughingstock. After all, I did send her this young goat, but you didn’t find her.”

Judah has a situation in his hand. The person who that was a prostitute never been. Judah held help his side of the deal but Tamar didn’t. I really don’t know the time frame when the goat was sent to her, but something is going on. The point that Judah make is the will be me laughingstock made him decide to keep what she had of his.

He didn’t get back what he went after. When we are so quick to jump to conclusions or jump into a situation, we don’t count the cost. We follow after what the flesh want and not what the spiritual man need. We get weak at time, but shouldn’t be our downfall.

Even in my life those things I did came back to haunt me. People didn’t want to speak to me anymore. It all started a chain of event that prevented me to proceed into my calling of God. When a person is interested in the things of this world more than God it made me wonder what going on. I knew I had this calling but running away from it will only cause greater pain in my life. Yet God was still with me and I try to press forward but things of this world had me bound.

To say this is a reminder a person can change when God is still a part of his or her life. We can’t let situation get the best of us. Ask God to make his presence known deeper in your life. You really don’t want to be worry about thing. Praise and give thanks to God in all circumstances. He will step in on time and began to reverse it all.

Judah one of the tribe of Judah. The line which Jesus came out off started off on the wrong foot, but yet Jesus came from a tribe that wasn’t honest with God but had a heart for him. You might mess up but asking God for forgiveness is the best thing a person could ever do.

When it come down for tomorrow remember it about the moment Judah got the news that Tamar was with child
