Just thinking about my life as a teenager. The evening before Thanksgiving was spent at church. We can together to worship and praise God for the wonderful works he had done within that year.
It was part of our harvest time seed. We can together because of God’s blessing. My life at that time was centered around God mostly. The reason for that because I recognized the importance of honoring God. By honoring God it provide me a way to be thankful to my family.
Many don’t have a place to call home or a family that loved them. That is the reason why I am grateful and thankful for the family. Yes there might have been some hurts but love conquered all. My family didn’t see eye to eye on things at time, yet we had a common ground on life.
That life contains the most valuable thing. That was the love of God that was within the midst. We didn’t have that much but we made the most of what we had. One thing I pray is family could experience the love of God within their household. It would make things much easier and also we gain strength by reading the Bible and studying it.
As you come together on Thanksgiving let by gone be done away with. Love on each other, find that forgiveness. Mend open wounds and most of all do it in the love of God. Sorrow can heals unless forgiveness is done on all accounts. Most of all be thankful for what you have because there is somebody out there who is worst of than you.
Be bless and have a wonderful Thanksgiving in the USA. Most of all everyday is Thanksgiving day in giving thanks to God.
