Are you still able to be thankful.

So many monumental things has happened in the last 2 years and we still don’t know why.

Some people have said Covid-19 was part of Gid wrath. Other have said Satan has come and killed many. People said it was a purging to separate the strong from the weak. The one that I have heard the most is we will see now who are the true believers or not. Those people who ate afraid to go to church in the midst of things has lost their faith.

Who are we to judge people? The Covid-19 has happened and still in the midst. Regardless of what cause this and how people are reacting to this. How is your faith in God? How are you holding up. Are you able to be thankful towards God that you are still alive and standing. Not just standing, but yet alive.

Many lives has been uprooted and changed because of Covid-19 but are they still being thankful to God. We don’t realize this bit as we give God the praise and thanksgiving it moves things in the atmosphere. Yes we stir thing up in our life and God moves and are pleased with us. How is this.

The Bible states God inhabits the praise of his people. Come before him with Thanksgiving and enter his courts with praise.

We in the United States has adopted lots of tradition from other countries and nations. Thanksgiving is one of them. It was the time of fall festivities. God blessed people with the harvest of the land. They saw the need to thank God for a blessing that took place.

The harvest time or fall time is a reminder the winter is coming so store the food or made room to do what you can with the harvest food. I don’t know what people did back in the day. One thing I do remember is those days of canning food and storing food up, for the hard winter ahead. It only prepared us for what was yet to come.

Looking at this message today we need to be thankful to God. He has given us so much, but yet we don’t gather up those things God has for us. We at time miss the blessing God has sent our way. Later on we wonder wow I missed it.

Like in the harvest time people are happen because God had provided. We need to be happy and thankful for who God had sent our way. We need to be thankful because of our life, health, wealth, and also family.

We will continue tomorrow about Thanksgiving. However God move us to bring forth the word it will be a blessing. Togetherness with the one you love.
