Welcome to another teaching on our spiritual travel. A look into the Book of Revelation. We are taking a little detour we be back on Revelation 22 soon. For now let see what the book Revelation is saying to us today
Many people like movies about time traveling. When it comes to the book of Revelation most don’t read that book of the Bible. Some have said it’s to far fetch or to much symbolism.
What I have said to many it’s about the future order of things. Yes it can be confusing at times, than why not go and buy other books or commentary on the book of Revelation.
What does Revelation tells us if a person take it by its content and context?
The first part John saw Jesus, he described how Jesus looked to him. It then break down the different churches throughout Asia.
I do think it’s was dealing with the type of people and not the physical churches themselves. If you look at each church along it will reflect the type of people who are believers in Christ.
Revelation chapters 4-19 deals with many things in the future. It is the period before, during, and after the tribulation period.
What is the tribulation period? It is 7 years of God’s wrath will be released upon the earth. Before such time all those who worship God in spirit and in truth will be taken away into heaven. The tribulation period starts or take place soon after. I highly recommend a person to study those chapter. Get knowledge and understanding what will be going on, on earth at this point. We also recommend go deeper and see what will happen during those 7 years to the people that has been raptured.
Chapter 20 tells of the event after the tribulation period. It tells was a thousand years reign of Jesus Christ on earth. At this time Satan will be locked up for an amount of time. The time will be a thousand years. Once that thousand years is over Satan comes back with a vengeance to get rid everything that is righteousness by deceiving the entire world.
Then the battles begin between the army of God and the demonic forces of Satan, which will be his army. We know the power of God is greater and all those that was with Satan will be destroyed.
When we go deeper into chapter 20 it tells of these points
Judgement of Satan
Judgement of the dead.
What will be the Judgement and to whom will this fall upon?
In Revelation chapter 20:10 we see the dismay of Satan and his false prophets.
And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.

Revelation 20:11-14 deals with people who had died. They were judged according to what they had done recorded in the book.
This is all the people who had died during the period of time from the tribulation period and up to this time.
And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
Revelation 20:12-15 KJV
Therefore no matter how good or nice you are, if your name is not written in the Lamb Book of life will experience a total separation from God. Your eternal resting place will be the lake of fire. This will be the second death. It’s not that of a physical death but a spiritual death.
Chapter 21 and 22, gives us the detail of the new heaven and earth. Even a detail of the new Jerusalem, the Holy City.
It tells of life within the new land. It will seen to be like Eden restored. It even tell us more about the type of people will be bound to the lake of fire.
Finally at the end of chapter 22, Jesus Christ said he is coming quickly. His reward is with him. His rewards are to give every man according as his work shall be.
It goes on to let us know about the invitation Jesus gives everyone. Let them who are thirsty come. Those who want to drink from the water of life let him come.
Jesus there is inviting people to come and be apart of God’s kingdom. Man is not doing the invitation there but Jesus Christ says come and take part of what the Lord has to offer in your life.
No need to wait, but now is the time to allow christ into your life before it’s to late. We know not the day nor the hour when the event of Revelation will happen. God is saying now is the time, have the assurance your life is hidden in Jesus Christ and in God.
Jesus Christ is coming soon now is the time, to set your life in a right relationship to God by his Son Jesus Christ.
You do this by asking Jesus Christ to come in your life. Believing and recognizing all Jesus Christ did for you.
His death, his burial and resurrection is the way back to God and having a relationship with God and Jesus.
This is a highlight of the book of Revelation. I know you might not understand. As you study and break it down, you then will understand all that John saw and witness in his vision.
