When we plan for a trip, what are the things we do. This will be a few weeks about our eternal destination. The passage of scriptures will be coming from the BOOK OF REVELATION.
First we have to pick out the place we want visit. We examine everything about our destination. Second we see if we have the funds to go. Third we look into how we should go. Plane,train,car,bus or boat. Fourth we get our ticket. Fifth we begin to pack few day or get things we need for the trip. Sixth is once we get all that together we are ready to go on our trip. We make sure our house is in order and arrange people to watch the house as we go. Seven we either drive or somebody take us to the station where we are departing from. Eight we wait patiently to get on board the transportation system we are traveling on. Ninth is we board the transportation system and begin to travel to our destination.
Along the was we might have a layover to refuel or change the means of transportation. We also have to have our passport ready if we are leaving the country. Most of it all we sit back and enjoy the ride. We might encounter some turbulence along the way. Whatever it may be it could prevent us reaching our destination on time.
When we finally arrive to our destination, several things take place. 1st need to get our luggage. Find a way to get to the hotel or the place we are staying for the time we are there. 2nd to check into the place we are staying. We go to our room, check it out, unpack and relax for a few. Some might take a bath and order room service. By this time a day or night is gone and there is one less day to do what they need to do.
The next full day people go out and explore the area. What if a rainstorm comes up. What if things happen beyond their control. People would be made because they spend so much time in planning but they can’t enjoy the place. They now think is was a waste of time and money. We can’t expect everything to be perfect. That is part of life.
Today is a summary of a person trip to a place they longing to go to. Some might get let down but other make the best of every opportunity.
This is how some people life will be like they think they are heaven-bound, but they will be in a state of shock when God says I never known you. Depart from me. This point their eternal destination they thought would be a resting place in God is now a place of torment and torture, and no rest. Revelation 19 20 21 speaks about this and tomorrow writing will be about what the new world be like. Heaven will be on earth as like in the garden of Eden.
