We are once again looking at Paul missionary journey as he is in Athens Greece 8 points we are going to look at over the next few days and they are

1) GOD MADE THE WORLD AND THINGS THEREIN.
2) HE IS THE LORD OF HEAVEN AND EARTH.
3) GOD DOESN’T DWELL IN TEMPLE MADE WITH HANDS.
4) HE GIVES LIFE AND BREATH TO EVERYONE.
5) IN GOD WE LIVE AND MOVE AND HAVE OUR BEING.
6) WE ARE GOD’S OFFSPRING HEIRS OF HIS.
7) GOD WILL JUDGE THE WORLD WITH JUSTICE.
8) THIS MAN IS JESUS CHRIST WH0M GOD RAISED FROM THE DEAD.
These are points Paul made about who God is and the truth about the idols they called to the unknown God. Here is the background from there we will take each point and learn from it the next 8 days. Today is the introduction to Paul experience while in Athens Greece.
Paul now leaving Berea he went to Athens. This was a city in Greece. With that city Paul came upon many idols.
He waited there until Timothy and silas could join him.
Why was Paul’s Spirit was so stirred up. Because the entire city was given to idolatry.
When we come across anything that goes against God it should stir up within our Spirit man.
Paul knew what they was doing was wrong.
A person who is walking in the light of God and is witnessing wrong things being done will tell others about the true and living God. Mostly at this time the resurrection of Jesus Christ and only in him could forgiveness can be done. I do think Paul really talk to the people and leaders about God, Jesus and salvation everyday he was there.
