It’s all about thankful thursday and how God worked it all out. Looking at Paul and Silas they went from worshipping God, casting out an evil spirit within a girl. Being accused of causing havoc in a town. Being humiliated in front of people. Being whipped and sent to prison. Yet God was still in control. They never gave up because they knew God would get them out of that situation. Instead of weeping and crying, they prayed and sung praises to God.
God worked it out because God sent and earthquake to stir up something in the life of the gaurd and possibly the other prisoners. We don’t know if any of the prisoners were saved or not because of this event but we know that one person did come to know Jesus Christ as his personal savior.
Acts 16:29-34
Then he called for a light, and sprang in, and came trembling, and fell down before Paul and Silas, and brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved? And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house. And they spake unto him the word of the Lord, and to all that were in his house. And he took them the same hour of the night, and washed their stripes; and was baptized, he and all his, straightway. And when he had brought them into his house, he set meat before them, and rejoiced, believing in God with all his house.
GOD PLAN AT WORK.
GOD always have a plan in the midst of it all. That is why we need to be thankful
We we are thankful and giving praise to God things starts to shift in the environment around us.
From the previous reading we found out that when we Praise and pray to God with a real heart then miracle of God begin to take place. You notice Salvation happened. The man and his household were saved.
The final thought for this thankful thursday is be thankful to God in all situations because he is working it out. Even in this day and time with the Covid-19 pandemic, God still is working it out. It will take people of faith to really understand it all. I know some will suffer and die. If God allow this to be a wake up call to people so they can come back to God than so be it. It’s time to see the goodness in things and not the bad. Trials only bring us out and into a newness of God. How we got over is a miracle itself and thanks be to God we are still standing. To those who know somebody who is dying from covid there is still hope for them. Allow God to do his work so they can know and understand who God is for real. Be thankful on this thirsday because God is in control. As one person have said what the devil mean for evil GOD CAN TURN IT AROUND FOR THE GOD. LET GOD TURN AROUND YOUR SITUATION. Praise God, give God the honor because of who he is.
