Walk in the word
Continue in God no matter what
Act 9:23-31
In this world we live in today so much is going on. The big question for today is will you continue on in your faith no matter what you are facing?
In the United States many church building are closed. Has this top you from doing what your faith in God calls you to do. We are to bare witness to the fact of how Christ has given us new hope and a new life. The testimony you have on what God has done for you could change the life of others. Second are we staying home and not fellowshipping with others around us. You don’t have to be in the church building, with cell phones and computers today we can do a video call or a regular call just to chat with others about the goodness of God. God word can go forth if we have our heart in the right place.
Saul at the time understood his task and duty God gave him. He was worthy of the calling. What did Saul face in life that we might not do for Christ today because we are not strong enough in our faith.
We know and see Saul life has changed. He was baptized and filled with the Holy Spirit. He saw and experience Jesus personally. When we have that encounter with Christ and understand what he did for us we no longer need to follow our own nature but the nature of God. Saul had the power of God within him and a personal walk with Christ. Do many have those thing today. When we become save and knowledge Christ for all he done for the world, do we have in under pressure and stop serving him in the way he want. Does the care of life weigh us down.
Saul didn’t let those things around him stop serving God and bringing people into a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.
Today text we see Saul preaching the gospel, telling the good news. This wasn’t all that was going on. People wanted to kill Saul at this time. This didn’t stop Saul. When he heard of the plan that people trying to kill him he was able to escape the town with the help of others.
When God is in it all he is able to save and shield you with his power. We seen this week a plot to kill a governor of Michigan but their attempt was spoiled by the FBI. God is able to protect us and shield us from danger.
Saul continue on to preach the word. Some believer in Christ was afraid of him because of his known reputation. Once the word got out of how Jesus appeared to Saul people welcome him and a mighty move of God swept through the area. People was daily coming into the belief band understanding of God.
Saul continue to do the work he did as Jesus told him. He already knew the danger he might face, yet he did serve God by faith. Don’t give up or in continue to do and live for God. Regardless what the world is doing remember this you yourself must personally give an account of your life to God. So continue to serve and honor God by many means necessary.
