Life in Christ

Look into Acts

Oct 07 2020

We welcome you today as we understand the point we left off from yesterday. Each person life in Christ is different. How can we explain this.

This is done by looking at the function of a family who has more than 1 children. Each child might have a different relationship with their parents. This is how life in Christ works.

Each person who gives their life to Christ come from all walks of life. Each one has different things they might have done, and because of their sins they realize God is greater and God is able to help them to overcome it all.

When we look at Acts 9:1-10 we see Saul. A person who didn’t like the people of the way. The way was those who had accepted Christ as their savior and Lord. Jesus dealt with Saul in his our way.

It was on that road that Jesus appeared to Him. Jesus Got his attention in a dramatic way. Jesus told him what he wanted from Paul. The truth came out in Acts 9:12 themission God would set Paul on.

He was an instrument, for God to proclaim Jesus name. His name is to be proclaim to both the Gentiles and their kings, and to the people of Israel. Just as he cause people to suffer God will cause Paul to suffer for his name.

Again the life in Christ is the fact God uses people in many ways. They also develop a personal relationship to God according to their life experience.

I was telling someone how when a person is born they are born into that family. Within that family they have both private and public moments with the family. That is how God does it in our lives and we see it with Saul. Jesus came to Saul in a way he didn’t do to any other at this time. It was more of a private moment but yet in a public manner. Private because Jesus spoke directly to him. Public because it was seen by those he was with.

A life is Christ also tells us we belong to Jesus and God. We are now in them and they are in us. What people miss at time is they are now part of the family of God. Born by the blood of Christ, living on the promises of God.

God is our all and all, he is wonderful creator. God is love. God is all and all. To sum it all up we belong to God and it’s a personal experience with him each and everyday. Our life in Christ should remind us who we belong to and know we are victorious in him.

Our life in Christ tomorrow is looking at the benifits that we have in Christ. Claiming our lives in Christ.
