When I was young, this is what I remember what people would say. It’s a personal relationship with God. Spend time with him ans get to know him as if a person do when they are first dating.
In other word back then people would spend hours on hours being with the person they loved. The only way to know somebody more and more is to spend time with them.
On Pentecost Sunday the Holy Spirit directed me to look into the book of Acts and Mark to let me see how the disciples faith was during the time after Jesus Christ resurrection.
The question came to me, do you really know? Do you really know what happen after the day of the pentecost. You may understand what happen that day but it didn’t stop there.
God had me to go and re-live the encounters in the Book of Acts. In other words as I read the scripture they come to life on the pages. God is letting me see things from a spiritual point of view and not just reading the text.
Since God is in control of it all, I am now able to share the truth and knowlege of the word as he gives it to me. Not putting any points of view in it he wanted me to share it as if i am looking at all of these before my eyes.
We have looked in Acts Chapter 5,6,7 and looking at things as it unfolded. Within those chapters we have witnessed many things. From obedience to death for not telling the entire turth. We witnessed great power of God moving in this time. People was being healed, delivered and having a new life in Christ. We saw lots of people within those chapters yet each tells us a story of faith, committment, and the important of salvation.
Go back and read post of last month and you will be lighten to the truth. See how people faith in God was real and genuine. Dispite what they knew, the apostles and other continued to preached and teach the good news to others.
