A disturbance in the atmosphere for God

What is a disturbance- interruption of the normal order of things

An atmosphere is a surrounding environment

What was the disturbance that the disciples was causing in acts.
It was preaching and teaching about Christ. Most of all it was the miracles of healing and deliverence that was taking place across the land.
Act 5:16

The high priest and those that was associated with them, as well as the Sadducess didn’t like what was going on. It was only causing disruption in the land. They was filled with jealousy

Why was this the case. People was looking towards two factors. Jesus and the apostles. No longer looking at the high priest or those in charge

Jesus death cause people to have direct access to the throne of God.This was possible now becauce at the death of Christ the vail of the temple was ripped in two. It split in half giving people direct prayer to God. People no longer need to confess to the priest. Jesus was our redeemer. His blood cleansed us once and for all. Meaning we now have become children of God once we acknowledge and confess Christ as Savior and Lord. The work he did provides us a life with God, walking by faith in God.

God power and the anointed that was on those men was great. He sent the holy spirit to aid them to do those things.

Verse 18. They were arrested, because the people couldn’t stand to see people being healed and delivered.
In verse 16 it said those who was tormented by impure spirits were healed.

Cross referencece this with acts 16:16-20 healing the future teller.
The people whom was profitting off of them was made also. There was a disturbance in the atmosphere for God. The people did like it at all.

Disturbance cause them to be arrested
18 the arrest of the apostles
19 the escape

If we are doing it all in the name of God no matter what it look like God will find a way for us to get out of that situation. God will was being done.

The instructions was
Go stand in the temple courts and tell the peple all about this new life.

Go and stand, they others about this new life Jezus Chriat can give others. What more exciting it could been for the angel came and tell them. Most of all set them free wothout anybody noticing it.

21. At daybreak they entered the temple courts. The began to teach the people.
transferring knowledge to the people about this new life in Christ

The possie came to get the apostles out of jail. To late they saw that they was gone and the doors was locked.
Guards standing and no one inside.

Nobody was found
How dumbfounded this could be

They are in the temple court teaching the people.
Disturbance in the atmosphere. The soldiers went and got them peacefully. They was afraid of how the people would react if the would charge in and get the apostles. Tbe apostles had the approval by the people.

Are you creating a disturbance in tne atmosphere for Jesus Christ? Are we telling others this new life that people can find in Jesus Christ. Do we have approval by God upon our life to do such things? Yes if you been saved and know in your heart the power we have to make a difference in the life of others because of Christ then you are a world changer. You are changing the environment of people around you for tbe better. Build up hope in people so they can see a brighter future.
