Walk through the book of Acts

As you know the ministry has decided to walk through the book of Acts. We are taking our time and no rush through it.

Here what we are doing. If at any givin time a chapter needs to be broken down and talk about it we will.

This wek we are on Acts chapter 5. This chapter deals with a lot. Death for not obeying the rules of God. The promise was broken. We see miracles, signs and wonders being done in the name of God. Yet people don’t like what they are doing.

The apostle being put in jail, the angel come and rescue them out. The apostles still proclaiming the gospel in spite of it all.

Yet it doesn’t end there. Those in high poistion had them arrest. They had a meeting together. The apostles gave it to them straight. We are obeying God not man.

The apostles told them the truth but yet they want to shut them down. The people in high places wanted to kill the Apostles. Yet a person stood up and told them the truth and they didnt kill the Apostles but let them go after beating them

In spite of all the apostles still continue to spread the messsge of hope. The message that Jesus is the Christ. in him you can have a new life, hope and victory. Theymet at the temple homes to tell other this and it was on a daily basics
