Don’t let the fire go out.

We are back with walk through tThe Book of Acts.

We are taking a look at some passage of scripture today, a look at the disciples and how they responded after the death of Christ. They lost faith in thier belief of Christ. Just a reminder don’t let the fire of God burn out in your life.

In this present day of being in isolation we must keep the fire burning.

Look at the disciples they lost their joy. John 21 and Mark 16. They lost the inspiration. They were in dispare because Jesus was no longer with them.They went back to their own way of life. Not looking into what Christ fulfilled on the cross. Jesus rebuke them for the lack of faith and their stubborn refusal to believe those who see him after the resurrection.

Sometime we need a jumpstart. When our faith get low. Since the church building are closed how are you getting the encouragement to go on in the christian race dispite what is taking plqce today. If you need to rekindle the flame of God inside ask him for help and somebody will come to jumpstart your faith.

Many has been sitting idly by and not doing nothing for him. Where is the praise where is the worship where is the evangelism and relying on him for everything.

Why are you becoming so placecent. You have become so lukewarm. The fire has gotten dim and it time to be rekindled

Do you know his disciples got placecent and Jesus had to come and get them back on track. The reason this happen was for others would know and understand the gospel of Jesus Christ.

You may not notice this but one thing is this. Jesus offer hope to the lost and give them light in the midst of their darkness. He came to the disciples to tell them they have a work to do. The same work they did must be continued in Jesus believers today.

Go out and proclaim the gospel. Go out and pray for the sick. Go out to the poor in spirit and tell them the good news of Christ.Tell them to repent and turn from their wicked ways. God’s kingdom is at hand.

Jesus hold them a long time ago and I promised them this in the following passage of these book of the bible

Mark 16:19
Acts 1:4-11
Acts 2
Acts 4:8-14

When we allow the holy spirit to lead and guide us it will cause something to happen in our lives. They went from being timid in their faith to have great boldness and power that Jesus spoke about in Mark 16.

People was being added to the church on a regular basis. They stood up and proclaim the message to the people. They didn’t care what other people migjt have said against them. They was all into doing what Jesus told them to do. Preach and teach the word. Let people know about the new life in Christ.

Finally they did as they was told to do. Their faith may had gotton dim but Jesus told them what they needed to. Wait for the holy spirit and he will give you tbe power to be witness. To carry the mmessage of hope and life across the region.

Don’t let the fire of God go out in your life. There is people that need to hear the message of hope you can give them.

The hope is salvation is found in noone other than Jesus Christ. God son who died on the cross for the sins of the world. We have to accept the fact what he did is true and God raised him up on the third day. He is in heaven interceding on our behalf. Jesus christ is coming back as the soon coming king.

To recieve Christ ask him to come into your life revelation 3:20. He stand at the door knocking let him in to be your Lord and savior over your life today
