Still standing
A look at the Hebrew boys
Book of Daniel
As we continue in the book of daniel we will be taking a look at the 3 hebrew boys. Yes they were still standing in the midst of it all.
Daniel 3:12-18 New International Version (NIV)
12 But there are some Jews whom you have set over the affairs of the province of Babylon—Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego—who pay no attention to you, Your Majesty. They neither serve your gods nor worship the image of gold you have set up.”13 Furious with rage, Nebuchadnezzar summoned Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego. So these men were brought before the king, 14 and Nebuchadnezzar said to them, “Is it true, Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, that you do not serve my gods or worship the image of gold I have set up? 15 Now when you hear the sound of the horn, flute, zither, lyre, harp, pipe and all kinds of music, if you are ready to fall down and worship the image I made, very good. But if you do not worship it, you will be thrown immediately into a blazing furnace. Then what god will be able to rescue you from my hand?”16 Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego replied to him, “King Nebuchadnezzar, we do not need to defend ourselves before you in this matter. 17 If we are thrown into the blazing furnace, the God we serve is able to deliver us from it, and he will deliver us from Your Majesty’s hand. 18 But even if he does not, we want you to know, Your Majesty, that we will not serve your gods or worship the image of gold you have set up.”

They realize who God is. The true and living God. In other words they said do with us whatever you need to do. They know the importance of serving and obeying the True and Living God. They will not bow down and worship no statue because they was order to do.
In what they did say was that we will not serve your gods or worship the image of gold you have set up.
The wonderful thing about knowing who God is and what he has done is we can praise him and praise him only. Not having any other thing in our life to take the place of God. We know that the three was thrown into the fire. The king turn up the heat, but yet they didn’t die THE LORD was with them in the midst of it all.
To have faith and to stand on the word, saying in God I will put my trust in him and only will I put my trust. God will reward those who earnestly seek him. The 3 hebrew boys knew God as a deliverer, a savior, and much more.
The hebrew boys they were still standing. Their backs was agaist the wall but God miracle took place. They didn’t die but they lived.
When it look like trouble is on every hand let go and let God. He will provide. When face with a crisis never lose hope put trust and lean on Jesus Christ more now than ever. He will guide you through the storm and you will come out with the victory.
Just praise God because you are still standing. Meaning you not down or out yet and with our voice we will shout the praises to God.
