A MESSAGE FOR TODAY

WEDNESDAY APRIL 22 2020

Welcome to a word with John. Our topic today is reflecting the spiritual glow.

What does it mean to reflect? The word means to give off, also means to give evidence of the character. To use the worf reflecting can mean seeing something original in another form or image.

We have given three meaning of the reflecting. Each in their own unique form of the word. To tie all the definition together in our topic today one must see the entire point we are making. I have said believers in Christ has the spirit of christ, God and the Holy Spirit dwelling within them. The gospel books speaks about this as well as the letters that Paul wrote.

What is the main purpose a person come to Christ. They realize they need a savior in their life. They have acknowledged that Jesus Christ is our enernal hope in God. In Christ we have salvation and is set free. We have givin away our own life, in order for the spirit of God, Jesus and Holy Spirit can abide in us.

To understand this let take a car for example. In order for a car to operate in its full capacity certain conditions must be applied. Driver, key to start the engine, the proper thing under the hood to make the car go. Most of all the car can’t go without the gas. Before a person get to drive on a regular basics he must complete serveral task. Upon completion a test is given. The test is done both written and driving. When a person pass the test he can know operate any car the licence said he or she can drive.

With our walk with God all of the elements need to working together in a person so they can reflect the real nature of God. The Spiritual Glow or Refection is just an evidence of our character in Christ. Once people see that glow on you they know you been in the presence of God. The light of Christ will be seen in your face and the Holy Spirit is working within. They may see you but you are reflecting the true character. The life you have in Christ. Your new form. They will see you for who you really are.

A story was one day a man was teaching on the word. He was delivering the message as God had givin him to do. Once it was over a person came to him and said. What happen i didn’t recognize you. You had taken on a totally differant image. You didn’t look like yourself.

This was a reminder to those around you. When you don’t see the person as a person you are witnessing a total refection of God’s anointing and presence upon that person. It is thr evidence that this person has truly been walking and allowing God to use him.

To reflect the spiritual glow you have shown your true character in Christ. Meaning they know you have taken on a new life in Christ and the last thing is you are now reflecting your true image of Christ within you. The proof is,. I no longer I but Christ living in me. What more proof does a person need from you as you continue to have that reflection or glow on your life that only God can give as you continue to walk in his ways.

Tomorrow why isn’t the spiritual glow not seen all the time.
