Act 12:7-9

TUESDAY APRIL 14 2020

Now behold, an angel of the Lord stood by him, and a light shone in the prison; and he struck Peter on the side and raised him up, saying, “Arise quickly!” And his chains fell off his hands. Then the angel said to him, “Gird yourself and tie on your sandals”; and so he did. And he said to him, “Put on your garment and follow me.” So he went out and followed him, and did not know that what was done by the angel was real, but thought he was seeing a vision.

Today we are talking about awakening. Peter had an encounter with the angel. The angel poke him inorder for Peter to wake up. Not only did the angel came but a great light shined in the plave where Peter was.

How do you wake up? Is it the alarm clock, soomebody calling or shaking you to get up, or is it the sun that cause you to get up because its shining in your room. No matter how you wake up you do wake up to go and start your day.

How was Peter wake up call so strange? First didn’t a person wake him up. Second he woke up with a command to do. We see when Paul was on the road to Damascus the light of Christ shined upon him. We don’t know why there was a light that shined in Peter cell but one thing we di know the angels poke Peter so he could get up.

Is God poking you to get up or its time to be awaken and answer to those things God is calling you to do for him. The angel told Peter to get up and go. Put on you clothes, lace your sandals and put on you coat. It time to leave this place and never return. There is no time to loose lets go.

We have to follow the thing of God. Once we awaken to the truth of God than we must follow him where he is leading us. We shouldn’t lool back but follow Jesus follow God. By doing this we will be in a place of safety.

For some being in the presence of God us being in a fog. Meaning everything we are doing for him in thr moment it doesn’t feel real but its is real. We have reach that place of oneness with the father. We hsve now come into the presence of God. Our soul is connected with him.

To conclude is let take time to be awaken to The truth of God. Let Jesus fill you with his light of truth. Plus let Holy Spirit led and guide you situation. Knowing this you are able to get up and out. Doing the work of the Lord. Let nothing bound you because those who are in Christ has been set free at Calvery. We have escaped the enemy stronghold in and over our life. we are free to do the work of God.
