At this moment we are on the word bless, blessing or blessed. This is showing how God’s favor is upon others. People may think God’s blessing is only on the righteous, yet we have to understand God”s blessing is upon all. We might not see it that way but stories been told over the years of how many have been blessed directly or indirectly through God.
You might not understand this but each day is a blessing from God. It matter not if you rich or poor but it’s how you go each day and see how God’s favor is upon your life. Again many people are being blessed in a sudle way from God and don’t even know it. They think they have done it on their own.
One story is taken from the parable Jesus told about the lost son or the Prodigal Son. Luke 15:11-32. The title of this story is, Time to come home.
Time to come home isn’t about death but the fact is a love one who got confused about life way. The person Jan wanted to explore life. She didn’t have that much but she just wanted to get out and go. She decided to go Hawaii. It was something that was drawing her to that state. God planned it all out for Jan, yet she couldn’t see it beause she wasn’t ready to see the things of God at this moment. Jan loved to cook and make wonderful dinners. While in Hawaii she developed her talent. Everything can so natural to her. She opened up her own food business and it was doing great over the years. Fast forward in time God had blessed her and the business but yet she forgot what she was told years ago. Always remember don’t forget where your blessing come from.
She had to go back home, that was her family home in the state mainland. While she wad home she notice that all of her siblings was home. It was years that all of them was home at one time. At one point they were all sitting down and talking about things they were doing. Some was down on their luck. They thought life had given thema bad break. Others was doing average and was making it through day by day.
Both parents got up and said this. Thanks be to God!!!! All of our children is safe and they have come back home. They had to remind their children of this one thing. No matter where you are in life, having your own business or down on your luck. Always count your blessing because God is still with you and you have life in your body. You might not understand it all. God has planned it for you to be you. Never give up or give in. Strive to be the best you, you can.
Once they said all of this Jan ask her mother why her. Why did things happen for me and not to my brother. You see this you had a desire in you. The talent you developed and learned. You became successful but what are you doing with that success. Are you being a blessing to other just as God has bless you. Look around and see what God has done for you.
The story will continue tomorrow. Looking to see how God had everyone to come back home for a giving purpose and a promise.
A stories of blessings and hope to us all. Use your gifting or talant not only for yourself. Use it to help others along the way. Just as God had blessed us be a blessing to otners.
