What can make me whole again.

When we think about life, people do have heartbreaks and they feel like everything has fallen a person apart. They feel as if their world is crumbling around them, to the point they feel emptying and less of a person inside. How can they get back to reality? How can they be restored? How can they be made whole again when their life been ripped apart?

We know many people see a doctor and other people in order to get their lives back on track. The real question is how much do they know about what Jesus offer and how God is able to do things for us if we have faith in him.

There is this song that was written some time back it’s called nothing but the blood of Jesus. Part of the song goes what can make us whole again nothing but the blood of Jesus. In this posting about a life for a life we are looking at how Christ blood was shed for our sins. 7 places we talked about and two of them we will be looking at today.

1. First in the garden of Gethsemane.

2. When he was at the whipping post.

What spiritual significance can learn about Christ blood being shed in these two places.

Looking at the point when he was in the garden. It was really blood that he shed but it said his sweat was that like blood dropping. It was a very intense time for Jesus he knew it would be his has moment of being human on earth. He had to get away and pray. He prayed for himself and the world. Yet he was ministered to by the angels. He needed the strength to do what he needed to do withing the next 24 hours or so. He also said not my will but thou will be done. In the gospel of John chapter 17. Here we find Jesus praying for God glory, praying for his disciples, and praying for the believers. It was a point of that shows Jesus Won Back Our Willpower to resist temptation. It was because his prayer was so intense his sweat was like blood dropping from his face. Jesus help us to overcome the world and by doing this he that believes in him can be made whole again.

The second part of this was at the whipping post. This also can be found in the Gospel writings. The best to book to give you a closer look is from the book of John chapter 19:1

John 19:1 So then Pilate took Jesus and scourged Him. His body was broken so ours could be made whole. Looking at this point we see his body being broken. Meaning his skin being ripped from his body. With this come bleeding and loss of blood. When we think about this we see skin as bringing part of the flesh. In the spiritual since flesh is our human nature. Jesus blood is the life source. So now inorder for us coming to Christ we come not in the flesh but in the spirit. Our life will be taken on a new meaning. The former will pass and a new life in Christ. This will happen once we believe and receive all that Christ did and is now doing for us. We can be made whole again in God sight.

Being made whole again. Getting rid of the old nature and thing in life. To a new person. It didn’t take us a day to get in the mess we are in, but with the new life in Christ it’s a new beginning of seeing things from a new perspective. The blood being shed was a covering for us. It allow those who will be coming to Christ an everlasting spiritual life in God. We can rest in God with this assurance that our body may decay but the spiritual side of us will continue to live on in Christ now and forever.

That is all what it means to be whole again and it was done by the blood of Jesus. His blood was shed in many place during different occasions but it was all done for you, for me, for the world. When we do believe and gave faith in God we can and will be made whole again not just in our physical body but in our relationship with God, and Jesus. With this in mind we will be lead by the Holy Spirit to guide us each and every step of the way.
