This weekend special presentation is all about being thankful. We have so much to be thankful for. If you are able to read and understand what I am writing just be thankful.
Many have good health and everything is going so great for them but yet they never stop and be thankful for things God has provided for them.
Some may not have everything they need in life, such as good health, finances, family, or friends. Yet they give praises and is thankful to God for being alive everyday. Each day God’s sends a new blessings their way. That blessing could be small but yet they know God was able to do and provide to meet their needs.
Looking at some factors on why to be thankful to God. Later when do need to give God the thinks.
Looking at Psalm 95 1-5
Psalms 95:1-5 NIV
Come, let us sing for joy to the Lord ; let us shout aloud to the Rock of our salvation. Let us come before him with thanksgiving and extol him with music and song. For the Lord is the great God, the great King above all gods. In his hand are the depths of the earth, and the mountain peaks belong to him. The sea is his, for he made it, and his hands formed the dry land.
Be thankful to God because of these factors.
1. He is a great God. He reigns and rule over any other gods. He true and the only living God.
2. From the highest mountain to the deepest place it all belongs to him. The earth from the highest point to the lowest point belongs to God
3. God created everything you see today in this earth. From the seas to land. He created everything by his hands. No other person created such wonderful things like God.
Psalm 105 tells us of some of God’s miracles he did. We need to be thankful for the miracles God has done or doing in your life.
When do we praise and give God the thanks.
1. 1 Corinthians 15:57 tell us we have victory in Jesus Christ. Therefore having victory in Christ we need to be thankful to God everyday.
2. Colossians 3:17 reminds us to give thanks to God in all we do. Meaning from the time we get up to the time we go to bed is a day of being thankful to God.
3. Ephesians 5:20 tells us to give thanks to God the Father for everything. This is means all expect of life we need thank God for. Things I listed before is some of the areas in our lives we give God the thanks for. We need to be grateful for those things as well. In any second we can lose things that we have and it could impact our life forever.
Just be thankful and grateful in things of God because he has done so much and he is the God almighty. He is our provider, and our everything. Many forget this durning this season but let’s stay focus on God and the true reason behind it all
As we go out this season, spread some Godly joy to others so they can know and experience real love, peace, joy and happiness in their lives, no matter what they maybe facing.
