What is your role in life?

Today with the weekend motivational topic is finding out you life purpose. What is your role when it comes to the spiritual expect of things. This message is for those who have ask Christ to be their savior and Lord over their lives. Also it will give the non-believers the truth and see what being a true believer is all about.

What is your role in life as you follow Christ. How do we get to the point to know what our role is? It’s a personal thing that God has in mind for your. Be yourself when it comes to finding your role with God, don’t try to copy somebody else because that was given to that person for a particular reason in life. That is their role God had them to do.

How do we find our role in life? How do we know what God has for us to do. Will angels come to me as they did many people in the Bible? Are those some of the questions you might be asking yourself as you are following Christ or since you have given your life to Christ. Today and tomorrow will will be looking at these thing.

God has a plan and a purpose for our life. To see what it’s is about one must ask God or pray seeking God to find this out. At times God will provide you the answer and it always been with you. You have to open that up and rediscover it. Meaning thing could be lying dormant for year and God will bring that back to you for his purpose.

We never know what God has in store for us but one thing that we can know for sure as we continue to live for Christ and God he will open our eyes in a way we never seen life before. The role that he give people is personal and that is the reason whatever he give you to you it belongs to you. No one else has that role to do but you. If we look at many people in the Bible each was given a specific task to do. With each task it came with a price and a honor.

To look at it this way being a waiter I didn’t try to be like my coworkers and copy their approach but I did as what the rules said and added a little of my personal style with it. So whatever your role with Christ be the best you can be. Have that desire to do what God called you to do.

We have talked about the 5 key people of the church before teachers, evangelist, preacher, prophet, and apostle. Do you know also God uses other people as well besides them and they are just important. Deacons, choir members, prayer warriors, ushers, people who council other, missionaries, and the list goes on and on. God will speak or show you your specific thing to do if you just have an open mind and the right heart.

No matter what our role maybe the main reason behind it all is to bring salvation to the lost. Tell them of the goodness of Christ and let them know how Christ can change a person’s life for the better.

Tomorrow we will look at some of the gifts God had given people to do within serving him. This will help each of us to understand our role when it comes to serving Christ and God.

Remember each of us has is a part of God’s family. We have a specific task or role to do. Let’s honor God by finding that out and do what really pleased him and give God the glory and praise. Be ready to do as the Lord placed in you to do.
