Today is a day you never will forget because God has a word for someone on this new week. All this week we will be on the subject walk in the authority of God. We will see what authority has been given to the believers in Jesus Christ. After this week we will be able to walk in our authority in Jesus Christ. No more being consumed by our struggle but pulling down those stronghold, in order to get our breakthrough.
The old saying in computer terms garbage in garbage out. Those habits, unwanted desires, that is controlling us so bad that we can’t really face life no more. We think it’s a part of life because all we been around is that negative stuff. When we have this mindset will we change at all?
The darkness has taken us by storm and we try to hide from it. We try to escape from it by any means necessary. The darkness is anything that you feel has authority in your life that is affecting you in a bad way. Those things you struggle with, that will only lead you down the slippery slope. The place you are hiding in you think it’s safe for now.
When you think you are hiding in a safe place. the darkness or the struggle will consume you and it has you for the rest of your life. The struggle is no more a struggle but now its a part of you. It has a hold of you. At one point you thought you could break free from it but now you no longer can.
Do you know, you don’t need to get to that point? You can be set free by having a fresh mind set. Just think about this, when washing clothes have you ever left something in a piece of clothing. Did you know the clothes are clean and whatever was wash with the clothes either stayed in them or came out. The choice is ours to stay in darkness or have a new mindset.
The new mindset is in Jesus Christ. By asking Jesus to come into out life he can wash us clean. Yes some of the stuff is still in our life. It’s not up to us to take it out but God is able to deliver us from whatever it is. When that problem that we were freed from, try to come back, it can’t take us no more, it will runaway. It might try to claim it’s rightful spot but God has put a seal of approval over us and said we are his now.
The last and important part is this, the enemy will come to get us. They will want to track us down like we are wild animals. Once they think they have us corner, all we have to by faith is to proclaim who we really are in Christ. Have the boldness and strength to know we have the authority over the enemy. As we speak in the authority of who we are in Christ things will backfire on the enemy. Where he thinks he had us cornered and about t pull the trigger, it will all backfire and send him into a place of utter destruction.
Remember don’t let you stuggles get out of control. Allow God to help you and come to Christ. As we come to Christ, we can speak and walk in the authority that he has given us. The reason why we can do this, spirit of Christ, God and the Holy Spirit is in a believer of Christ. Those who have confess Christ as Lord and Savior. We are able to do this and the enemy will flee. Have faith and realize who we are in Christ
