Your calling as a teacher for the Five-fold ministry. This week we are looking into the different function of the Five-fold ministry. Those ministry people are called into by God. Also some of the same ministry people are picked to serve and this is more a person picking instead of God.
You might ask what is the difference in the two, people are still teaching others. When God calls a person to teach it’s of a higher nature and the person is subject to no other authority except by God. Nobody can take it away. A person will know that he or she been called because there is no running away from it. It more of a pressing matter within your heart, mind soul and spirit. While on the other hand if you are picked to become a teacher others has the say on what to teach and how to teach it. You are being controlled by outside influences and not the main source, which is God
The teaching calling is special because it help train others to become a stronger believer in Christ. A person who is called by God is a personal God knows who can handle it. It is a person who knows more of the Bible than on thinks. A teacher who is called by God has a heart to serve and understands God’s truth and ways. A person who is picked to be a teacher my not have a true heart to serve and they are doing it out of respect and duty and not from a full devotion to God.
I have heard people said being a teacher is a heard job or a task to do. Preparing the lesson and to make sure the kids or whoever they are teaching will understand the lesson they are teaching. We know people get bored quick and if a teacher is not motivated to teach it will show.
I do think each some Christians have the gift of teaching and they are great at it. Still it is not the same as being called.
To be called by God means to be set apart. It a specific task one must do and answer.
What is a duty of a teacher who been called by God. In most cases the five-fold ministry function over lap. The truth of the matter is to know the difference in each one. As a person who been called to teach, they will encourage others to grow, make disciples of other. Teach other on how to live a life worthy of God. Train people so the will have the knowledge and the understanding in the way of God. Teach them many expect of the christian life. They just don’t stay on one given subject. Teachers who are called by God they might have an encounter with God and allow them to teach and instructed in an unique way.
The main reason for a teacher is to help out the five-fold ministry so the others can do what God called them to do.
To know if you been called as a teacher you will just know it. It will be a passion God put in you and on you to better his kingdom and the world. To teach you don’t have to be inside the church. A person can teach anywhere they know it is a good place to teach. Free from any distraction.
The heart of the teacher is to teach others so they can learn and understand the ways of God and to grow others into a deeper relationship with God. If you feel God has called you to teach the gospel and yu can’t shake it off than that is what yu been called to do for God. Remember don’t let your calling lead yu astray but continue to allow God to motivate and use you on the way he wants you to go. Follow God in all his ways and don’t be distracted by men
