Welcome back to today posting on Sept 24 2019. We are here today to speak on the subject doing things out of a love or compassion. Not out of a form or a habit but a compassion, a desire.
We have people who are classify themself to be a pro at what they do. How did they get to become a pro at the job they are doing. One could be they practice at it. The other is it just something they are good at and love to do.
We going to see the contrast of the two. Two different people at the same job but one is doing it just to do it. The second is doing it because it is his compassion, his love interest and no other place they would be but there at the job. The first one is driven to work at their job because of obligations he they might have in their personal life. The second person has a deeper meaning. They are doing it because it’s out of desire, a love for the job. That person might feel great and wonderful because they enjoy what they are doing because it’s their gifting or talent. The second person could possible one day have their own business along that same line.
What is driving you to do the things you are doing. Many hate their job and don’t want to go to work. The question I then have to say. Why not look for something you enjoy doing. Why complain day in and out. People who as a compassion about their job they might wake up in the morning and be thankful and can’t wait to get to work. It a positive experience for them.
We as believers in Christ we have to have the same type of spirit as the second person does. Having that love and compassion towards our fellow men. We have to have the same desire when we are serving Christ. Not out of form but a compassion, or love for Christ and the things of God. Waking up each morning and thinking God for another day.
The compassion or love we have for things we do will show in our effort. It show that we really care about what we are doing no matter what it is. For example you see when a sports player had enough and will submit to a defeat before the game is over. In the other hand some will never give up that fight to win until the the last second has run out.
For us today don’t let yourself be behind the right ball and later in life you discover what really motivate you. What your gifting or talent you have but you didn’t find that out because you was busy looking at other things to explore and all along your heart desire and the things you love to do was already in front of you.
The real takeaway from this all is what is really driving you. What is the one or two things you like to do the most that can benefit you and the others around you. Knowing it does take that much to motivate you to do do it. You are driven by that compassion and love.
Remember whatever you do fo it as you doing it unto the Lord. Your love will show and people will see your wonderful works. Having that compassion it will become easier and easier in doing what ever it could be.
A thought for today until tomorrow go with God and love on others.
