Have you ever had your computer system go down? Have you worked in a company and the network went down. All you could do is wait until the system comes back. How did you feel when a person said the network is now up in running.
Can you imagine what the world would be like if those who confess to know Christ and has accepted him as their Savior would get up and do the great commission. I mean what if all those who confess Christ would get up and go out and tell others of the good news of Christ. He is the prince of peace, the Lord of Lord’s, and King of Kings. Most of all he is the only way to the heavenly father. He gave his life so people could be set free from their sins. Christ is the lamb that was slain for the entire world. All people need to do is receive and believe in him. What Christ did for the world has changed lives of others. If people would go and spread the gospel not just on Sunday but everyday it could have an effect on many.
Since we go out then we must gather them in. In other word those who now has received Christ need to be taught the truth of the matter. We see this in book of Acts. They not only met in the temple, but at the home of others. Learning and being taught the ways of Christ. Even Paul after his encounter with Christ, he spent time with those who confess to know Christ. One of the part of the great commission is go, and made teach. Gather the people like fish in a net and help them to grow in the things of God. Our responsibility as a believer in Christ is not just to bring people to the church building but to disciple them into the love of Christ. It not just the work of the pastor or deacon but it the work of all to train up people so they can grow in God.
The last thing is once we train and teach the new believers in Christ, they now must continue to grow in the things of Christ and of God. Growing in God is a continuous. Its never ending. We must spend time with God as he grow in us as well we grow in him. We can’t remain the same year in and year out. The truth to all of this is building that one on one, the personal me time with God the Father, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit. As we get the hold on this concept we will have a greater understanding of God, and all that he hd to offer us in being a part of his family. Growing in God can help us see from a different perspective. It will help us to understand life more and knowing their is hope for the future. Again we have to be strong in the mighty power of God. When the enemy comes in try to take people down they will be able to win the battle. Growing up in God is the key to life and a hope for the future.
As we connect everything into place the go, gather, grow God’s network will be up and running in full force. Nothing can stop us to spread the word no matter where we go. Once we keep the right connection with God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit they will put us into communication with th right people so his kingdom will continue to be built. Don’t let Satan come in and disrupt you and what God’s plan is for your life. Kept the 3G network up and running. Keep the faith. Go, gather and grow will not just help you but others in your circle of life.
Finally it’s all about doing what Christ left us to do, go out, gather people in, most of all grow them to point where they can can do the same.
