What is the 3G network I am referring to. It not about telecommunication, but it what believers in Christ need to do each day. The 3G network is GO, GATHER,AND GROW. The last two postings we talked about going and gathering. Today is all about growing people in their faith so they themselves can learn and understand the things of God.
We talk about growing in God some time back. Today it’s how believers in Christ. No matter who you are need to train up people inorder for them to know and understand the things of God.
To grow people in their faith, it not hard. Just started them off with the basic things of God. As they learn, they are growing, as they grow in God and the things of him they are becoming disciples of Christ. They then get to the point they can learn on their own. They don’t need to be holding somebody’s hand or the other person is spoon feeding them.
As the mother hen let the babies go from the nest she still watches them from the distance. One day the mother hen don’t need to watch them no more because she know they can take care of their own.
That is how it is with people growing others in making disciples of Christ. We give them what they need. Teaching them, training them, then one day the student will be the teacher.

Hebrews 5:12-14 NIV
In fact, though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you the elementary truths of God’s word all over again. You need milk, not solid food! Anyone who lives on milk, being still an infant, is not acquainted with the teaching about righteousness. But solid food is for the mature, who by constant use have trained themselves to distinguish good from evil.Hebrews 6:1 NIV
Therefore let us move beyond the elementary teachings about Christ and be taken forward to maturity, not laying again the foundation of repentance from acts that lead to death, and of faith in God,
As believers in Christ we must train up others and lead them to the point. Where now their faith they can grow and get the knowledge and understanding by reading and studying the word for themselves. Allowing God and the Holy Spirit to led them into more understand and knowledge of Christ and the things of him.
As people come to Christ, we need to see where they are at first. They can’t jump into the water and start swimming without getting the knowledge on how to swim. Same way in the christian’s life. We have to teach and train them. Inorder for them to grow in Christ.
Finally it’s all about growing people in Christ. Don’t put it all in the preachers and teachers in the church. We who are strong in the faith can help them to get closer to God in their relationship with Him.
Tomorrow we will tie all of this together Go, gather and grow and see how they all come together to be one power tools in helping others to develop a stronger relationship with God.
Again ask God to lead you or send somebody your way that you can help in their faith. Grow them to where they need to be. Time for people to get off the spiritual milk and start getting the spiritual meet.
