The Second Part of the 3G Network

When it comes to 3G network, people might think of third generation of the lines of communication. First lets see what the word network means.

One might define network to linking things up in the telecommunication. Today it’s all about interact with others to exchange information and develop professional or social contacts.

God already had a way for people to spread the message of hope, love and salvation to others. This was done by Jesus Christ leaving his disciples a plan. That plan is found in

Matthew 28:18-20

And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

What is the 3G network it is GO, GATHER, GROW.

Go out and teach people the gospel of Jesus Christ. Teaching them (those who have given their life over to Christ) to observe all the things whatsoever Jesus commands. We are training people to become disciples of Christ or followers of Christ.

The second part of the 3G network is the called the gathering. How is this done? We meet at a place or a setting. Some meet at the church building, a person house, the park, the library, or school. It’s a place people come to gather, to grow themselves into the knowledge, and understanding of the things of God. They do this so the came become more mature in the things of God.

A gathering is also where group of people come together. Some call a concert a gathering. Other calls a family reunion a gathering. No matter where you maybe if people come together to learn about Christ and the things of God it’s a gathering.

Why go we need the gathering? To draw people in. Let them hear the Gospel of Christ preached. On the day of Pentecost people was all gathered in one room in the unity of their faith. They was waiting for the Holy Spirit to fall.

Acts 2:1‭-‬2 KJV

And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.

It all started upon those who where in one place and on one accord. It was the gathering of the saints for a special event to happen and they was waiting for God to do something.

This only come on the heal of what happened next. People saw the strange event taking place. They heard the gospel of Christ being spoken in their own language. At this time many believed on God and became followers of Christ.

It didn’t stop those who became Christian or received Christ that day. They had to get some teaching and training to understand the ministry of Jesus Christ. I do think that is why they meet at different home as the broke bread together. We also find them in the temple learning and growing in the doctrine of the Apostle.

Acts 2:42‭-‬46 KJV

And they continued stedfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers. And fear came upon every soul: and many wonders and signs were done by the apostles. And all that believed were together, and had all things common; And sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all men, as every man had need. And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart

Finally we have have learned two of the 3G Network.

First is Go. Go out and make disciples. We do this by gathering them. Preaching the news of Christ. Letting people know about what God did for the world. He sent his Son, Jesus Christ to be our living sacrifice. The way back into a relationship with God. As we gather people, preach and teach them, they in time could become a follower of Christ. Doing the work that God called them to do, inorder to bring others into the saving knowledge of Christ.

Tomorrow will be the third part in this series. That will be grow people. Looking into how people need to grow into the knowledge of Christ and not just being the same year in and year out.
