Good day people of God. Christ In Me Prayer Ministry and Giving have come again with new topic: Do not let your mind defeats you.

Text: Matthew 4:1-7

Then was Jesus led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil. And when he had fasted forty days and forty nights, he was afterward an hungred. And when the tempter came to him, he said, If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread. But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. Then the devil taketh him up into the holy city, and setteth him on a pinnacle of the temple, And saith unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone. Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.

As a Christian, don’t let your heart defeat you in any conditions you may find yourself in. When Jesus had fasted 40 days and 40 nights, devil came to him into the wilderness and asked him to charge a stone into bread, because he knew that Jesus was hungry.
Jesus Christ never did as the devil told him to. If he had he would been defeated. Jesus would have allowed his heart to control him, and not depend on the power he had within himself. Since he didn’t obey the devil, and came back with the scriptures that was written he was able to defeat the devil at this point. He allow his inter strength to overcome the evil that was around him. In other words He rebuked the devil he won the battle.
We need to have that strength in our lives today when temptation comes we have the power to resist and allow God to take control over it.
Let’s look at the life of Job. He never allowed his condition to suggest to him, but rather to submit to defeat he continue to pray and seek God in the midst of it all.

Do you know because of many hearts are weak and they don’t have the power of God within their life like they should many are leaving church and going to serve other God rather than the true and living God. Why are
people killing themselves in the world we live in? Is it because they have submitted to defeat within their heart. The power comes in knowing Christ and the life we have in him and the love he has shown us from his heart.
Please do not be control by what people say. Have a heart of service to God. Live for Him and not for people. Have a pure heart for God and don’t let yourself give in to any situation that goes against God’s word and plan for your life
