We all need a jump start every now and then. For some coffee is just what they need to start their day. Schools have pep rally to get the team charged up to go and win the game.
This message is just a start for the larger message for today.
What are you waiting for?
We all have to wait at time for things. It could be as small as waiting at a red light or big as getting a roof put on at your house. Most people today don’t want to wait for a red light or even a train these days because we have gotten ourselves on the fast track of life. Everything is fast and quick. I could go on and on about how people want things fast and and easy. Even to the point in serving God. Some people serve God as it is a fast food restaurant.
They want things their way not how God wants it. Who put time limit on serving or worshipping God. In the bible its said worship him in spirit and in truth. How can we worship God in the spirit if we only sing verse 1 2 4 out of a hymn book or the praise singer sing only a few lines of the song. Again people can’t wait to leave the church Sunday morning because of other things going on. Who gave you life, who gave you things, who had given you your heart desire. Why not serve God in a way he wants your praise and worship with a full heart. Service to God not out form but out of love and respect to Him.
Finally taste and see the goodness of God. Have patient like Job. One day life will be all over. Now is the time don’t wait to be the woman or man of God. Stand up and do his work. Time to awake the power of Christ within your life. Don’t wait any longer serve him with full heart.
