What do we have for you today is very simple and to the point. Making a difference for Christ in the area you live. Within youth congress 85 there came this message out of the salt shaker and into the world. There was also book by the same title years ago. Don’t recall who wrote the book, it was very well written. Basically it was saying those who trust in Jesus is now the salt and light of this world.
First for us to be that salt and light of the world we must go into the world and tell others about Christ. Back in the 80’s we were limited on spreading the gospel. Now we have better ways of communicating the gospel through media outlet.
Second we must have a heart for God, a willing spirit to go and make a difference for Christ in the area we live in. Our walk or faith in Jesus must be real and genuine. a eagerness to make the difference in the community by helping others out, sharing the love and giving the love as Jesus did. again making the impact on others so they can see the Christ in you.
Third is we are living for Christ. No matter where you go or who you speak to you are representing the body of Christ. Therefore have the mind of Christ, think as he would think and speak as he would speak so others would know the Good news of the gospel.
Finally the choice is yours. Sit around and do nothing and see the world around you going to hell.
The other option is being the ray of light the salt of the earth so other will know the truth and come to the realization of who Christ is by your lifestyle and action.making a difference may be verbal or non-verbal but no matter how it is you can bring hope, life, joy, peace, and love to those you see in your community, at your job or even on any type of public transportation.
Do you what to make the difference for Christ no matter where you go? its all left up to you whether or not you want to make the difference. no need to be afraid, no need to be scared for you have what it takes to be the world changer for Christ.
Knowing with Jesus Christ, YOU CAN MAKE THE DIFFERENCE NOW AND FOREVER FOR CHRIST IN THE LIVES OF OTHERS. As we continue to fulfill the great commission found in
Matthew 28:18-20 NIV
