Sense of Guidance
PSALM 25:4-5, ISAIAH 58:11, JOHN 16:13
The manufacturers of a given product sends instructions to put the item together or even how to install it. Some comes with a manual on how to operate the machine. In some cases you need to download it off the internet. Without either in it would be hard operate the product.
Are we using the product to its full extent of what it was made for? Let’s use a microwave oven as an example.
Many of us only use the microwave to heat up small things. Many only follow instructions to get the least as possible out if it. Have you ever wondered what could happen if you use the microwave at its full potential power?
God is saying, are you looking for guidance to direct your life. My word, the Bible are sets of instructions When you began to read and do his instructions you will see God in a different light. His instructions are only there to bring life to us and guide us along the right pathway. The book of proverbs are great way to start learning about the instructions that God has set before us
The instructions I have given you. The words I have spoken within you are
To guide and direct you in the right pathway. Are you using my instructions and following my words to the full power and authority as they have been given to you?
Are you operating out of your full love and devotion for me?
What if we one day we woke up and said God use in your fullness? Use me in the total capacity as you have created me to be.
SENSE OF GUIDANCE
Psalm 25:4-5 New International Version (NIV)
4 Show me your ways, Lord,
teach me your paths.
5 Guide me in your truth and teach me,
for you are God my Savior,
and my hope is in you all day long.
Isaiah 58:11 New International Version
11 The Lord will guide you always;
he will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land
and will strengthen your frame.
You will be like a well-watered garden,
like a spring whose waters never fail.
John 16:13 New International Version (NIV)
13 But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come (NIV)
Some points to see is this. When we follow the instructions of God it just leads us to a place in trusting in him. By trusting in him, we then will know he will guide us along the way. As he guide us we can be assured he wont lead us down the wrong pathway. Not only that God spirit will keep us going along the way. Guiding us into all truth and leading us closer to God and knowing more about him and his ways.
