As we go into this new month we have a lot to celebrate. It’s been a year since being on WordPress and 4years this ministry was started.
Through it all we trusted in and followed God’s instructions. Today teaching is how we was able to follow his instructions, not only to help us but others.
Today we will be looking into follow God’s instructions out of devotion and love to him.
ISAIAH 29:13, MATTHEW 22:37,PSALM 40:8
Those words of instructions I have given you to do.
To serve me with a full heart, to love on others, to see yourself as a man and woman who have a heart to put me at the head of your life.
My instructions are not hard to follow, once you come into a relationship with me. Again, it’s a love factor. Depend on how much you really love me will depend on the amount of time you will be devoted to me inside and outside of the church building.
Why can man follow earthy instruction, but can’t follow the greatest instructions of all which are mine? The purpose being my instructions is to bring you life. A life you can live to the full with meaning, purpose and a plan.
When we come to love God we will follow his instructions out of love from the heart, mind, soul and body not out of traditions of men. To honor God is to follow what he demands from us and by doing things out of love and devotion it means we are willing and wanting something because we know what he has done and will continue to do in our lives.
Follow God’s rules and instruction OUT OF DEVOTION AND LOVE NOT A FORM OR TRADITION
ISAIAH 29:13
-13 The Lord says; “These people come near to me with their mouth and honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me.Their worship of me is based on merely human rules they have been taught.
Some follow God’s instructions because of they been taught this for years, but does it truly come from the heart. Many serve and honor God, but is it a form or out of love and compassion for God. We must understand following God’s instructions need to be done from a tru love and a true devotion. We then can see and understand the true meaning what God plan really is for the world.
Matthew 22:37 New International Version (NIV)
37 Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.
When we start following God with a love and compassion it will bring us closer to him. We will see things more from a spiritual point than a worldly perspective. When we totally have the heart, mind, soul, and spirit full with God’s love and willing to do as he instructs us to do than nothing else matters. We want to serve and honor him.
Psalm 40:8 New International Version (NIV)
8 I desire to do your will, my God; your law is within my heart.”
As we serve and honor God we will make it our daily plan to do God’s will and not our own desires. We can hear God by two ways. First is from the Bible. The Bible is God instructions on how to live a life holy and pleasing to him. It just teaches us things to do in order to live a wonderful life and to stay out of the evil trap of the world system. Second point is we hear from God as he speaks to us by his spirit. Yes God does speak to man, but we have to be still and listen to his voice. When God speak to us it only to get out attention. He wants us to do his instructions and honor his authority.
It all comes down to this as we follow God’s instructions we must do so out of a devoted love and respect. We must be willing to do those thing he is saying. Not out of a form or just doing it because. It’s more of a reverence than anything else.
Just following God’s instructions and you will be blessed. As you are being blessed, then you can share your blessing to other. Blessing is not always about wealth, but it’s about what God is doing for you in the moment. How he is still working things out in your life
