Why follow God instructions.

The reason to follow God’s instructions.
1. He has all power of rulership- sovereignty
2. He is the creator
3. His instructions brings life,love,hope.
4. His instructions teaches us how to live.
5. His instructions guides and lead us into all truth.

These 5 point we will be looking at the next few days but for now let’s look at how these points play a factor in our everyday situation.

I recall a game called Simeon says. The object of the game was when the leader or the person being Simeon tells a person to do something they needed to do it. Simeon would say to take 3 step forward and the players did, but if the leader said take two step forward without saying Simeon the players shouldn’t move, those that did had to go back to the starting line.
The leader gave the instructions by saying only move if I use the phrase Simeon says.

God want us to follow his instructions and move as he commands us to do.

Let break down each one and see how obeying God instructions leads us to have different prospective in life.

To understand God we have to know he is a supreme being. He is an almighty God, but most of all he holds all power.

How do we know this because as we look into the Bible it tells us so.

For the Lord is a great God, and a great King above all gods.

“Ah, Sovereign Lord , you have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and outstretched arm. Nothing is too hard for you.

3. His instructions brings love
You show love to thousands but bring the punishment for the parents’ sins into the laps of their children after them. Great and mighty God, whose name is the Lord Almighty, great are your purposes and mighty are your deeds.

His instructions brings life
Your eyes are open to the ways of all mankind; you reward each person according to their conduct and as their deeds deserve.

4. His instructions teaches us how to live.
You performed signs and wonders in Egypt and have continued them to this day, in Israel and among all mankind, and have gained the renown that is still yours.
You brought your people Israel out of Egypt with signs and wonders, by a mighty hand and an outstretched arm and with great terror.

5. His instructions guides and lead us into all truth.
You gave them this land you , sworn to give their ancestors, a land flowing with milk and honey.

What will we do with the instructions God has given us.
Use it or abuse it.
They came in and took possession of it, but they did not obey you or follow your law; they did not do what you commanded them to do. So you brought all this disaster on them.
Jeremiah 32:17‭-‬23 NIV

To understand all of this we have to put ourself in how God see things.
Set of instructions given to people on how to live a life pleasing to God.
Walking in the instructions
When I think of instructions set of rules and regulations to live by. Also I see instructions on how to fix,repair, of put together things.
God instructions to us either by the Bible or the audible voice of his spirit, is only there bring us life and make us aware of things that he want us to say and to do.
His set of instructions is to help to help us in hard time we may face. His instructions leads us down the pathway of righteousness.
The people that Moses led out of Egypt didn’t make it to the promise Land. The set of instructions given to Moses or the law was a rules and regulations to follow.
When we think about rules and regulations our mind goes to any sporting event. In those games they have rules and regulations to go by and if they don’t follow them they will get penalized. To some point ejected out of the game.
See the Israelites had it going all their way but because of their own pride and not trusting fully in God they was penalized. The results was walking in the wilderness for forty years. They didn’t received what was due them, it was given to the next generation to home.
Who is wasting there inheritance from God not listening to his instructions.

Why do we need to follow the instructions of God. His word that has been handed down from generation to generation is because of these facts

Therefore as we follow God instructions it will will benefit you 100 percent once we believe.
Again obey god,follow his instructions both from the Bible and the word he given you by the his spirit. Never listen to no other but God.
