Just want to share this thought with you. To be still in front of the Lord will help you in the long run.
As we come before God in his presence he will communicate with us. Some may say he speaks in a still small voice, a whisper or even a sound like that of a ocean crashing into the waves. However God speaks to us we must listen to him.
We get so much in a rush,we get busy with this or that. Distraction on every hand. For some it could be our spouses, kids, pets, ourselves, even doing for others.
We all just need to slow down. Take a few moments and listen to the still small voice of God. As he speaks he gives us instructions and how to do things. Don’t miss out on the voice of God as he speaks to us.
As we sit or stand still this is not prayer time, but a silent moment to really tune into the things God is saying to us.
Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him; do not fret when people succeed in their ways, when they carry out their wicked schemes.
Psalm 37:7 NIV
He says, “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.”
Psalm 46:10 NIV
When we be still and wait on God the blessing will come. When God promise things to us we need to wait patiently. Don’t jump ahead of God and do it for yourself. God will provide in his timing.
As we continue to listen and be still before God we will see all his wonderful works. Don’t let anything distract us from what God is doing in your life.
Being in God family we all have a purpose and an obligation to live out our life to God. Don’t miss your chance to change the world you live in, one step at a time.
Remember to be still before God, look, listen, and learn from him. As we do this the more we will understand our walk with God. God is not living for us but we are living for God, and to serve him with all our beings.
