Action meet up with your character. Leaving your mark.

We are back with a powerful truth. The truth is leaving your mark on others. Yes no matter who you maybe you in one way or other will leave an everlasting mark on people. Most people are know for doing good in their community or the area they lived in. While other have left a bad taste in other people lives.

Notice on thing will you be know for the good or the bad things. Joseph was a real dreamer. He had dreams that he told his brother, yet the brothers sold Joseph to people going into Egypt.

Now in Egypt what type of mark will he leave in the lives of others. First he was sold to Potiphar after the fact the Midianites just bought him from his brothers

Meanwhile, the Midianites sold Joseph in Egypt to Potiphar, one of Pharaoh’s officials, the captain of the guard. Genesis 37:36 NIV

The Lord was with Joseph so that he prospered, and he lived in the house of his Egyptian master. When his master saw that the Lord was with him and that the Lord gave him success in everything he did, Joseph found favor in his eyes and became his attendant. Potiphar put him in charge of his household, and he entrusted to his care everything he owned. From the time he put him in charge of his household and of all that he owned, the Lord blessed the household of the Egyptian because of Joseph. The blessing of the Lord was on everything Potiphar had, both in the house and in the field. So Potiphar left everything he had in Joseph’s care; with Joseph in charge, he did not concern himself with anything except the food he ate. Genesis 39:2‭-‬7 NIV
What do we notice from the above verses is this.

1 God was with Joseph. 2. He trusted in God. 3. The master saw The Lord was with Joseph, he then trusted him to be his attendant. 4. Potipher entrusted Joseph to everything he own and in charge of his household. 5. Potipher household was blessed because of Joseph.

The first mark Joseph left while he was in Egypt was a good one. Joseph trusted in the Lord of Abraham, Issac, and Jacob. When his master saw the favor of God upon Joseph life, Potipher might have said this is a man of a great reputation. He is trust worthy, he see a light of God in his life. He is serving the most high God.

Since Joseph was in great standing. Potipher put him in charge of his household and care for everything he had. Joesph was made his personal attendant.

Why was this important because it should the type of person Joseph was. It gave him a reputation of being trust worthy. The mark he left on Egypt at this time was great. The main reason behind it all was his walk with God. His actions meet up with character.
