My identity in Christ and God

I am a new Creation, Holy Nation, Royal Priesthood, a person who is not condemned by God, but He has
allow me to be a heir of him and co-heirs with Jesus. it is to the point I can say when I pray and believes he
hear my prayer, whatever I ask of him, in his name he will answer it. By this confidence, I realize it’s
Christ that lives in me. Daily will I serve him and tell other about his excellent way. For its only through
Him that I have been taken out of the darkness and into his marvelous light.

Many key verses all rolled into on statement. The truth of the matter when we come to God by the way of the Cross, and there is no other way to God except through his son Jesus Christ. We have been redeemed by blood of Christ. To know all of this and it meaning we can continue to grow in Christ and the things of God.

Like I have said before when a person who just come to know Christ as there personal Savior it will be time of grow up in Christ.

The first and the important truth is to understand who we are in Christ. Just when we are born we are given a name. It identify us that we are born into that particular family. The mother and or the father names are on birth certificate. Therefore that birth certificate certified we belong to that family and we was born a that date. With the birth certificate it follows us from that time until we die.Many place will ask you for a copy of your birth certificate to prove who you are in order to a job or other things we might need in life.

Once we come to God and give our live over to Christ that is being born again John 3:1-17. We now have been awaken to the things of God. We are know born into God’s family as stated above. Roman 8 speaks about our identity with God and Christ for it reads.
This is part one our identity with Christ.

You, however, are not in the realm of the flesh but are in the realm of the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God lives in you. And if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, they do not belong to Christ. But if Christ is in you, then even though your body is subject to death because of sin, the Spirit gives life because of righteousness. And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies because of his Spirit who lives in you. Romans 8:9‭-‬11 NIV

Second truth is this

For those who are led by the Spirit of God are the children of God. The Spirit you received does not make you slaves, so that you live in fear again; rather, the Spirit you received brought about your adoption to sonship. And by him we cry, “ Abba, Father.” The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children. Now if we are children, then we are heirs—heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory. Romans 8:14‭-‬17 NIV

We see those who come to Christ becomes a part of God’s family. They have life and freedom through the blood of Christ. They no longer walk as the world walk in darkness but have the light of Christ living inside of them

To recap all of this our identity in Christ now is that of holy and pure before God. We have to understand this, from the time we are born again until forever we are now part of the family of God. Our identity is in him and his ways. One point is we have to continue to press on. Grow in the knowledge of God. Know who he is and his nature. Understand the truth of what the Bible speaks about. As we read and study we will gain wisdom.
