I been told the first few years of a persons life will shape that person for the next few years or into their adulthood. Some events of my early left an impression on my mind and still remember them until today. It maybe only just pictures in my mind but they are something that had an everlasting impression.
When it came to spring break of 1984, it left an everlasting impression on my life. Hundred of people there just for the Evangelistic outreach on the beach. Telling others of Christ and how he can save people from their sin and gives them hope eternally.
Those things I remember from that week are things God have me to focus on. The lesson from that week was all about trusting and believing in God because of who he is and what he done for us.
Even though it’s been 35 years this month I still remember some of the teachings and song from that week. You can say that was the everlasting impression.
From that point it help me to grow into the person I am today. It help me along the way when I faced some tough times but God is still good to help me to overcome them all.
Today topic is the everlasting impression. Are we making an everlasting impression in other people lives because of Christ. Some may answer with a yes or others my answer with a no. The truth to all of this is we all must learn to be a witness for Christ. A person spreading the good news of Christ wherever we go.
Couple of everlasting impression of that week was already said earlier, but starting on Sunday I will give you a short nugget of truth each day that I learned that week.
