What makes you happy.
We search all of our life to find what really make up happy.
Is it watching tv, playing sports, spending time with our love ones. Does your job or doing something you really enjoy doing make you feel joy and happiness. People might point to drugs or alcohol to find a happy place but that only last a few minutes.
Yes people get involved in lots of thing just to find a happy place. It make give them joy for a while.
What will last a life time and beyond is the peace, joy and happiness one can count on when it comes to serving Jesus Christ.
Yes there might be a time when you are following Christ might not be worth it, but yet Jesus himself could have feel the same way.
Jesus might have said this at one point. I came to redeem the world but they don’t realize it. This didn’t stop him from doing his mission.
The mission was to die on the cross for the entire world., so people can be restored in the right relationship with God.
That is the real joy, peace, and happiness, worshiping or serving someone who died for you that you may live a life worthy y following Christ, what would you do if someone saved you from a burning building. Wouldn’t you appreciate that person. So as it is with Christ he saved our soul and life from the lake of fire and place us into his kingdom if we believe and receive him
