Marching forth

Since today is March fourth I just wanted to have a play on word today. Little something to lighten things up.

Today is March 4th and I was told once this day should get us motivated to march forth into your destiny.

Coming out of the winter months march 4th just tells us to march into this month looking forward. With march it starts a new life cycle in nature. We see changes in this month, to some it the time to spring forward. Meaning setting the clocks up a hour.

A lesson to be learn in this month has we march forth and move forward. The lesson is don’t look back continue to press on. If we continue to look back we can’t see the road or the pathway that is waiting for us ahead.

A story of Lot’s wife she looked back and turned into a pillar of salt. We never know what might happen if we continue to look at the past mistakes and not getting over them.

When we think about the word march I always thing of a marching band. The walk in the parade and continue on playing the music until the end of the parade route. Do you know we never know if a person might have made a mistake in the band because they keep playing and marching forward. They let nothing stop them along the way.

The lesson in all of this is to continue to march forth. Let nothing stop you moving forward. Yes we might make a mistake or two but still keep on striving trying to reach you destiny. Don’t let yourself or others block you from moving forth.

Finally when it comes to us in our relationship to God keep this in mind. Abide in Christ, remain in him. Keep on marching forward in that relationship with Jesus, and God.

In John chapter 15 as we continue in Christ ask anything according to his will. He will give it to us. Keep on walking in Christ.
