SPRING. THE SEASON OF LIFE

What is it about spring that causes people to go wild. Some interesting things about springtime and they are:

1. Things begin to bloom and blossom

2. Easter holiday

3. Spring break for school and colleges

4. Baseball season starts

5. The temperature gets warmer

6. Outside exercise

7. Starting of a garden of any kind

8. Allergies and sinus start acting up

9. New animal life

10. Spring showers or thunderstorms.

This is only a list of things that happen during springtime. Some areas do the daylight savings time thing. Setting the clocks up an hour for more daylight at the end of the day instead of the beginning of it.

Coming with springtime is also beach goers. Those who have been in the house all winter and time to hit the sunny warm beach. Some take advantage of this time to minister or witness to people on the beach or other places.

When I can’t forget the new life that comes with spring. We all notice the trees get their leaves, grass grows, flowers and plants do their things. One thing we forget to see is how animals bring forth life to youngsters. Just to see animals reproducing offspring is only a continuous cycle of life.

When we look at springtime it’s just a season of new life. Everything that look like it was dead now turning green which is a wonderful site.

The last thing about springtime is a holiday during its season. This holiday is Easter. This holiday always falls in March or April depending on the time of a full moon. Easter dates can be tricky. First you have to know when the first day of spring. Once after that day, Easter falls on the first Sunday after the full moon in that calendar cycle.

We a Christian celebrate Easter not how the world sees it. We celebrate it because of what Jesus did from that Friday until God raised him from the dead. No other life we can have than the life of salvation. The life we can walk and talk in because of Christ. His death on the cross wasn’t just an ordinary death. His death was of life and hope. Life back to God and hope in knowing we who are believers in him will one day live with Jesus and God in a land not made by man.

The next time you think about spring, think of the joy that seasons bring. It brings forth life and a change. So it is with Christ he does bring about change and life in us. We just have to want it badly enough.
