E in friends

What do E have with the word friends. What make a friendship so unique. With the later E in friend it is a relationship that will not end. Also with true friend it could exclusive. An exclusive relation I am referring to is not in a sexual encounter but things a person share among themselves that no one else can come into.

Again going back to David and Jonathan in 1 Samuel they had an bond, they were soulmates until life. They even made a covenant between each other.

And Jonathan made a covenant with David because he loved him as himself. 1 Samuel 18:3 NIV

They entered into an exclusive friendship. A friendship that included taking care of family after death. With an non sexual exclusive friendship they only share things among themselves. Nobody else would they share this with.

To have a great friend like this could be wonderful. With having loyalty, in trusting each other with secrets and other details of their lives. They never tell no one they talk what they shared to the grave because it was only meant for them to share.

If you look at the discipline they could have had an exclusive bond with Jesus and with each other. I do think there was things that happened that wasn’t written in the gospel that with Jesus and the discipline did for God. The gospel is just a short passage of time in the life of Jesus and others. More things Jesus did to spread the gospel that was just exclusive to God in which be revealed to us later.

To have a close friend you share your most deepest thought with is great. Jesus want you to share your thoughts with him as well. He want to know all about how things are going. He might already know but he wants to listen to you directly. Just tell Jesus, he will listen and hears everything you say to him in prayer.

Have that exclusive relationship with Christ. Have that bond and develope that one on one personal time with Jesus, and God,
