So many words I can use to talk about friend that start with the letter i. For example invest, interests, important, inform. The key word today is interest. That is what keep a friendship going. A common bond.
What is in the in a friend you might say? Why do we spend time with some people and others are just I see you when I can?
Today we are going to look into making of a friendship. The common makeup of true friend is they have or share the same interests. The things they could share in common are music, social media, TV show, sports, cars, or outdoor activities.
Just think about your life and a best friend. What are some of the same interests you two share. How about people you just hang out with, you may call them friend, but how close or how much time you spend with each person in that group.
It is important to have friends. When it comes to a best friend or a true friend, we spend as much time with them as possible. Like I have stated before there is a factor that draws us to that person. A divine connection like David and Jonathan in the book of 1st Samuel. A friendship like the disciples had with each other and with Christ. The relationship Jesus had with Lazarus.
The Bible tells us a lot about friends or friendship. For most we do loose touch with close friends but those who are true and have a bond with each other they will continue to talk and share things with each other.
Finally the true friend of all is Christ he died for the world and as we invest in him, he will help us throughout.
