I recall back in middle and high school, the cheerleaders used to chant V I C T O R Y. It was to distract the other team players to make them to feel discourage. On the other hand it was just to motivate some players to go for the win. Don’t look at what the score is now but look for the victory. Go for the win.
We know as Christian we have already won in Christ. The reason behind this was what happened the day God raised Jesus from the dead and now all power is in his hands.
To show you what I mean let’s take a look into the Bible. Jesus said he was and is the Messiah. A Messiah is a person who came to save, or deliver a group of people. That is what Jesus did his death on the cross was just the first step, the second step was life after the cross.
The hope and glory
Messiah would be a sacrifice for sin.

Messiah would resurrect from the dead.

These are the reason we have the victory in Christ. Christ died,he rose from the dead. With all power in his hand. He has given us the power also which is the holy spirit. As we are lead and guide by the spirit. Also we who are in Christ are now children of God. Being his children since we have accepted the fact of what Jesus Christ the Messiah did we share in Christ suffering as well as in his Glory. Christ is now back with God. We are with him and he is with us. If we believe in all that he has done. The Messiah.
Finally, when it comes to life, we should not fear because we have the power of God within us. God will not put on us than what we can’t bare. While on Earth I must live for Christ. I know one day my body will die, but the eternal home is in the presence of God. My spirit is and now forever be in and with Christ.
