A life worth living

We are looking into Proverbs Chapter 10. Today the subject will be A LIFE WORTH LIVING The passage of scripture is as follows

The fear of the Lord adds length to life, but the years of the wicked are cut short.Proverbs 10:27 NIV

Two key works are fear and wicked. The word fear don’t mean being afraid but it’s mean having reverence, love towards. The work wicked is those who continue to go against the very nature of God. They have no remorse or concerns of Godly things, so they continue to do those evil before them. They practice evil and live to do things that goes against the nature of God.

Within that passage we see two type of people. Those who fear God and those who are wicked. The result for them both is also provided. Longer life for those who fear God. Shot life for the wicked.

Over the years I have seen people who was my age that died. They died because the way they was living their life. Yes people dies all the time, some God calls home sooner than the rest. To do wicked and ungodly things, without remorse is what some of Proverbs Chapter 10 is talking about.

In Proverbs Chapter 10 it gives us the details of those live a Godly and righteous life. It tells us of the reward and benefits to those who apply Godly wisdom to their life.

While on the other side it show us what could happen to those who continue to do evil, who are wicked,and have no remorse to God or his righteousness.

As we read Proverbs Chapter 10 just be reminded if we want to live a life worth living continue to seek wisdom, seek Godly advice, but mostly do as God has commanded us to do. Love him, live for him, but mostly ask Jesus to be the Lord and savior of your live.
