With WISDOM it brings

We are looking into Proverbs Chapter 8. The reason we skip over chapter 7 I will explain in the moment. Today what does wisdom bring.

We are going to tie in chapter 7 and chapter 8 together. It’s all about wisdom today and to be wise don’t act like a fool.

A fool is a person who don’t take things to heart. A fool could be a person who really don’t care. A good example is found in chapter 7. A wise person know not to be in an adulterous affair. It only leads to heartache and could lead to something bad.

What wisdom bring to the table is a lot of good things for people to digest. Wisdom is something you seek out. Wisdom is also things you learn along the way. To understand it all let look at some of Proverbs Chapter 8.

The Lord brought me forth as the first of his works, , before his deeds of old; I was formed long ages ago, at the very beginning, when the world came to be. When there were no watery depths, I was given birth, when there were no springs overflowing with water; before the mountains were settled in place, before the hills, I was given birth, before he made the world or its fields or any of the dust of the earth. I was there when he set the heavens in place, when he marked out the horizon on the face of the deep, when he established the clouds above and fixed securely the fountains of the deep, when he gave the sea its boundary so the waters would not overstep his command, and when he marked out the foundations of the earth. Then I was constantly at his side. I was filled with delight day after day, rejoicing always in his presence, rejoicing in his whole world and delighting in mankind. Proverbs 8:22‭-‬31 NIV

Wisdom is from God. He brought forth wisdom as the first of his works. Before the creation of the earth wisdom was established. Before life on Earth wisdom was here. Since God brought forth wisdom we need to remember wisdom is more costly than Gold or silver. So follow the instructions of wisdom. Because having wisdom is very precious than any gemstone out there on earth. Nothing compares to wisdom. Wisdom can save us from falling into the evil schemes of things.

Choose my instruction instead of silver, knowledge rather than choice gold, for wisdom is more precious than rubies, and nothing you desire can compare with her. Proverbs 8:10‭-‬11 NIV

For those who find me find life and receive favor from the Lord . But those who fail to find me harm themselves; all who hate me love death.”Proverbs 8:35‭-‬36 NIV

If we don’t gain wisdom, nor understand it’s powerful teaching than we could find ourselves in a world of trouble. People don’t understand all the proverbs within the book of Proverbs. It’s gives us the results of finding wisdom and understanding it as well as the down fall of not applying it into our everyday life.

Remember wisdom and what it brings to the table. Where did wisdom come from, most of all wisdom is more prescious than anything life could offer us, because it points the way we should go. Not towards the bad things but towards the Godly advice give out in the Bible.

Go in peace, continue to seek Godly wisdom because it is our help in a time of crisis.
