THE PROVERBS JOURNEY

We have been looking into the book of Proverbs so far this month and will continue as the month goes on. I gave skipped a day, I am double down this weekend. Yesterday I had to posting one in the am and one in the pm. When God gives me a word or a written I have to write at that point and time. If I don’t I will forget what God has for everyone to read and think about. I pray those who been reading and understand the posting is being help from it. You may see the posting coming off strange at time but that is how I was lead to write them.

The theme of the posting is based on the chapter of Proverbs for that day. For example today is day six, therefore chapter six of Proverbs I will be in.

For this morning we are looking into the fifth chapter of Proverbs. The subject matter is having the wisdom, and understanding not to get caught up into an adulterous affair.

This act only cause hurt and confusion to all that is involved. Both family is effected. Today in the world we live in, this can be also referred no only being in a adulterous affair with members of the opposite sex, but well as the same sex.

Either point is wrong and here is what is what proverbs has to say.

My son, pay attention to my wisdom, turn your ear to my words of insight, that you may maintain discretion and your lips may preserve knowledge. For the lips of the adulterous woman drip honey, and her speech is smoother than oil; but in the end she is bitter as gall, sharp as a double-edged sword. Her feet go down to death; her steps lead straight to the grave. She gives no thought to the way of life; her paths wander aimlessly, but she does not know it. Proverbs 5:1‭-‬6 NIV

To those who are in the house of God, for those who heart belongs to jesus. Don’t put yourself in a place where temptation will get the upper hand and you will fall to that trap. Don’t entertain any thoughts or ideas from either a male or a female because it will cause problems and heartache in your life.

The solution to it all is this.

Now then, my sons, listen to me; do not turn aside from what I say. Keep to a path far from her, do not go near the door of her house, Drink water from your own cistern, running water from your own well. Proverbs 5:7‭-‬8‭, ‬15 NIV
The answer to all of this is never put yourself in danger. If you find yourself in a situation just flee, and walk away. They want to destroy you and hurt your life. They want to see the down fall of it all. What God has built up they want to tear down.

Don’t let a time of pleasure of folly mess up your entire life. Let stand on the understanding, wisdom and knowledge flee youth desire,lustful things. God is forever yours and he is your life and your desire.

This is for those who might be in the middle of things or going through. God is able to set you free. Put you back into his grace. Just ask forgiveness and turn from your ways. God is able to help you do it. Have a willing heart
