A POEM GOD GAVE ME SOME YEARS BACK
On Christmas day, God gave the world a special gift.
A saviour, the prince of peace, The bright and morning star
As the wise men and shepards travel near and far
to see the saviour the angels talked about.
With no room in the inn Mary and Joesph manage to do without
By the virgin Mary Jesus was born. Wrapped in swaddling clothes laid in a manger as he was adorn
A star which shown so bright. The wise men came without haste to see a wonderful sight
They praised and worshipped the new born king. They knew the joy he would bring.
GOD gift was the saviour, emmanuel God is with us. For unto this day the saviour is born.
Glory to god in the highest peace on earth, good will towards men.
