Seasons comes and seasons go. What would you do if you have to leave those whom you love behind in order to be safe. We been posting things about the events surrounding the birth of Jesus. Today we will be dealing with the aftermath of his birth.
When looked at the point that led Mary, Joseph, and Jesus to flee to Egypt. Did you know that it was foretold back a long before the birth of Christ.
1When Israel was a child, then I loved him, and called my son out of Egypt 2As they called them, so they went from them: they sacrificed unto Baalim, and burned incense to graven images. Hosea 11:1-2
This is what Matthew 2:19-21 says
But when Herod was dead, behold, an angel of the Lord appeareth in a dream to Joseph in Egypt20 Saying, Arise, and take the young child and his mother, and go into the land of Israel: for they are dead which sought the young child’s life.21 And he arose, and took the young child and his mother, and came into the land of Israel.
The return to Israel as stated from about. The scriptures also says, Jesus will know as Nazarene.
Isaiah 11:1 (ESV)11 There shall come forth a shoot from the stump of Jesse, and a branch from his roots shall bear fruit.
Meaning there is coming an offspring from the house of Jesse. For telling of Jesus coming to be know as a Nazarene.
To further look at it one must look into Matthew 2: 23 (ESV)
23 And he went and lived in a city called Nazareth, so that what was spoken by the prophets might be fulfilled, that he would be called a Nazarene.
When we read the story of the birth of Christ. It is more than a story but it is life changing event. Many people was effected because of it, and many more are today.
The birth of Christ brought great joy and pain, which is a part of life. When we look closely at this story we see love and a pure heart of others, but yet evil was there also. One thing we learned was this evil didn’t will that day and it will never get the victory over Jesus, God, or the holy spirit.
Jesus already have brought the hope we need. The hope for the present, and the hope for the future. We might have done some wrong things in life, but by asking God to forgive you all those thing, seeking him. Most of all have the faith and believe in Jesus Christ and he will save for. He will save you now and forever.
Christmas is the time of year of fun and festivities. When it come down to it without knowing Christ within you life the true meaning of Christmas is just a day. The truth of it all, on that day a savior was born. He comes to offer you joy, peace, love and happiness. It won’t always be that way, because we are still in the flesh. Jesus himself was made fun of, rejected. Yet he paid the price for us all. That is eternal life in him. Within Christ we have it all and he will help us to live our life on Earth.
FROM GIVINHOPE MINISTRY WE WANT TO SAY MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL. HAVE A GREAT NEW YEAR.
